Hydra Fuel Cell Corp. Foe Seeks to Withdraw Patent Infringement Lawsuit
Beaverton, Oregon, 13 May 2008 (BusinessWire) – Hydra Fuel Cell Corporation (www.hydrafuelcell.com ), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Security Resources Corporation (OTCBB: ARSC), announced today that Relion, the company that sued it for patent infringement in 2006, has filed a petition to withdraw the infringement suit with the Federal Court in Portland, Oregon that is hearing the case.
Jim Twedt, President and CEO of Hydra, said, “This is a major development for us as we know that we never infringed on their patent, but the time and expense of defending ourselves has cost us valuable time in bringing our HydraStax® fuel cells to market.” Twedt added, “We expect the Court to rule on the dismissal in the next 30 days.”
